This project builds on previous work to assess sustainable alternatives to river sand, to support better resource management and climate resilience in the Mekong Delta.
Efforts are underway to better understand the risks and mitigate the Mekong delta’s vulnerability to climate change through an improved management of sand and gravel resources. This project builds on previous and current work to undertake a physical assessment of stocks and extraction/production potentials of sustainable alternative sources to river sand.
