Catchment hydrology and flood modelling
We combine our understanding of fundamental environmental management principles with our technical expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, data science, and remote sensing to address issues related to water security, water supply and demand, water quality, droughts, floods, environmental flows and waterway health.
Catchment modelling
We develop and use models to provide insights on catchment processes and management options related to water security, water resource planning, environmental flows and the hydrologic impact of land use and climate change. Our integrated understanding across disciplines helps connect model outputs to useful management and investment prioritisation responses.
Flood and hydraulic modelling
As flood and hydraulic modelling specialists, we provide expertise in flood risk assessments, flood impact studies and floodplain management. We appreciate the role of models as a tool in guiding decisions in complex economic, ecological and social environments.
Surface water processes and management
We work across diverse sectors, including mining, local government, renewable energy and development, to design surface water management plans informed by hydrological assessments and hydraulic modelling.
Hillslope erosion and landscape evolution
We combine surface water modelling and geomorphology to inform erosion risk assessment and management plans across a wide range of contexts, including mine rehabilitation, bushfire impacts and recovery, urban development, and unsealed roads.
Water quality and hydrodynamics
We quantify the processes of generation, transformation and delivery of water quality constituents, using techniques ranging from simple box and node/link modelling packages, through to complex coupled water quality and hydrodynamic modelling packages.
Risk, stochastic modelling and uncertainty
We work with our clients to deliver information that is accessible and relevant to decision-makers, with a strong focus on analytical techniques that treat uncertainty and risk as core elements of catchment and floodplain management.
Industry leadership
Our industry leaders are known for their deep expertise and knowledge in their field. They bring a thorough understanding of industry trends, technologies and best practices.
