Urban Heat Resilience: Bridging Science, Policy, and Sustainable Design

In 2023, Southeast Asia, especially Thailand and Vietnam, experienced a record-breaking heatwave, exacerbated by climate change and the urban heat island (UHI) effect. This project uses innovative heat modeling to assess urban heat risks and develop strategies to enhance Bangkok’s heat resilience, with insights applicable to other Mekong cities.
