Capacity Building and Technical Advisory on Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) Implementation in Thailand
Thailand faces increasing climate risks, with intensifying droughts and floods threatening communities and the economy, particularly in agriculture. To strengthen resilience, the Enhancing Climate Resilience in Thailand through Effective Water Management and Sustainable Agriculture (E-WMSA) project, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), integrates water management and agriculture solutions.

Thailand is highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. With climate extremes expected to increase, climate-informed water management and climate resilient water infrastructure will be critical to prepare for and respond to floods and droughts. The Enhancing Climate Resilience in Thailand through Effective Water Management and Sustainable Agriculture (E-WMSA) project, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), proposes integrated solutions which bring together water management and agriculture.
Alluvium was contracted to deliver technical design and advisory aspects of promoting Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) measures in Thailand, expanding the range of adaptation options in water management to address climate change induced pressures.
